                                                               15th INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
 
On May 11 we attended the presentation of the 15th edition of the independent film festival in India.

The festival was founded in 1999 under the sponsorship of M-80 Radio and humorous duo Gomaespuma with the intention of showing the cultural diversity of the vast country that is India, whose manifestations hardly existed in Spain. After a few years the format Asian Film Festival, was consolidated as International Film Festival having films of all nationalities.

IMAGINEINDIA is the festival of reference in Spain of Indian culture, also it has the projection of large international productions as well as participation in the event the current independent film.
Each of the editions has invited top artists, the presence of the film industry, parallel activities such as dance, music, round tables, street activities, conferences and other artistic and cultural activities each year are making IMAGINEINDIA one multidisciplinary festival.

This edition will have 69 films from 15 different countries. The venues where this year will enjoy this festival are: Spanish Film LibraryTheatre districtLanguage FunctionThe Travel Brand Xperience BCC Pilar MiróRussian Center of Science and Culture and the Asia House.

Each year the festival is sponsored by personalities from the world of film and TV. In addition to contributing to various sections of the festival as roundtables, awards, etc., encourage communication and publicity required by the current call. This year will be Carlos Saura and Antonio Saura and Adoor GopalakrishnanA.R. RahmanGran WyomingSergio PazosMonica EstarreadoHugo Silva.
The ambassador of this festival is Sharmila TagoreRabindranath Tagore Nobel Great Granddaughter prize, is also UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and has worked with the most important directors of India.

The jury delivered the "Chakra Gold" will be Isabel Ocampo, Javier Paxariño, Yolanda FontDavid MarquesDavid Serrano and Angela Molina.
